Job Opportunities at TANROADS Iringa – Construction of Iringa Municipal Bypass
The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is seeking qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions for the Construction of Iringa Municipal Bypass to Bitumen Standard (7.3 Km), Contract No. TR36/005/2023/2024/N/58.
Available Positions:

Senior Engineer (Materials) – 1 Post
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Highway/Transportation/Structural Engineering, 7+ years of experience, ERB registration, age ≤45.
- Duties: Supervise labs, ensure QA/QC compliance, test materials, and advise on specifications.

Works Inspector – Road Works – 1 Post
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, ERB registration, 3+ years in road construction, age ≤45.
- Duties: Inspect contractor operations, maintain records, and report to Highway Engineer.

Senior Topographical Surveyor – 1 Post
- Qualifications: Advanced Diploma in Land Surveying, 6+ years of experience, registration, age ≤45.
- Duties: Conduct surveys, prepare maps, and coordinate with project stakeholders.

CAD Technician – 1 Post
- Qualifications: Diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering, CAD certification, 3+ years of experience, age ≤45.
- Duties: Prepare road/bridge designs using CAD software and collaborate with engineers.

Office Secretary – 1 Post
- Qualifications: Certificate in Secretarial Services, 3+ years of experience, age ≤45.
- Duties: Manage office correspondence, attend calls/visitors, and maintain records.
General Requirements:
- Tanzanian citizenship.
- Certified copies of academic/professional certificates, birth certificate, and CV with referees.
- No underperformance history with TANROADS.
